Essence Medical Laboratory Partners with Aquinas Senior High School to Provide Free Health Screenings and Promote Community Health
As part of our dedication to corporate social responsibility and our sponsorship of the school, Essence Medical Laboratory recently conducted a free health exam at Labone’s Saint Thomas Aquinas Senior High School. On Saturday, March 25, 2023, during the school’s Speech and Prize Giving Day.
Several children, teachers, and community members took advantage of the free medical tests that were offered, making the health screening a big success. BMI, Blood Pressure, Glucose Fasting, and Glucose Regular were a few of the examinations that were performed.
In addition to the free tests, we also offered discounted tests such as FBC, HIV test, Renal, Lipid, Typhoid, and Kidney tests.
These tests are normally expensive and may not be affordable for some members of the community.
However, we wanted to make sure that everyone had access to these important tests, regardless of their financial situation.
Also we were excited to see so many people take advantage of this opportunity to take charge of their health. Our team of healthcare professionals were on hand to provide advice and answer any questions that attendees had about their health.
